Decide to travel to Hill of Beath for Saturday’s game. After last weeks victory, confidence must have been high within the squad.
Every time I’ve seen Shaw play against us he has cause panic when running at our back four. The first half as a prime example of this, second half I felt he was a little quieter. Two deflected goals were hard to take but what was even worse was the referee.
Her decision to send of Mann was a shocker, two players when sliding for the ball on wet conditions and Mann caught the boy – for me easy yellow card. I can only thing that the red card was for studs up and potentially not being in control while tackling. Please some tell me how that tackle warrants the same punishment as Andrea Dossena of Sunderland on Saturday. Yes light years away in standard of football but the same rules apply.
Second shocker I felt was when the HOB number 4 reacted to Lawson’s (think was him) tackle. He appeared to move his head towards Lawson and not even get a taking too from the ref. Even the HOB fans said it was sending off, it was right in front of her so she must have seen it.
I did feel that for periods in the second half we were the better team. A couple of decisions and deflections and the result could have been better. If we keep playing with the same attitude and application then I predict we’ll get off some league wins.
